Fun Things to Do on Our Campus - Community Services

Take a break in the scenic Oak Grove or attend a concert, play, or athletic event. There is no shortage of things to do on the IUP campus.

Arboretum: The Allegheny Arboretum consists of the entire 354-acre IUP campus. It is a living museum devoted to the study, conservation, and enjoyment of trees, shrubs, and vines.
Picnics in the Grove: Enjoy great music and food every Wednesday at lunchtime in the Oak Grove.
Homecoming: Visit IUP for Homecoming this year.
Lively Arts: Performing and visual arts events are presented by the departments of Music, Art, and Theater and Dance along with the University Museum and Kipp Gallery.

Arts and Entertainment: The Office of Arts and Entertainment supplies entertainment for IUP and the surrounding communities.
Athletics: A Division II school, IUP is a respected competitor within the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
University Museum: The University Museum brings the material history and arts of the region together in an environment that encourages exploration, dialogue, and enjoyment.

Tickets for Lively Arts events may be purchased at the HUB ticket office. The HUB (Hadley Union Buidling) is located along Pratt Drive just off of School Street. The ticket office is located behind the main desk. For more information, call 724-357-1313. Additional performances are offered through IUP’s College of Fine Arts.
