Welcome to the Department of Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I'm Randy Martin, the chairperson of the department. Thank you for selecting the Department of Criminology for your graduate education.
IUP is classified as a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University, and the Department of Criminology has a strong commitment to contributing to and enhancing the graduate mission of IUP. The Department of Criminology has been providing quality graduate education for more than twenty years, and we are excited to be launching the on-line delivery of our Master of Arts in Criminology Program. In the program, you will have the opportunity to work with faculty who are excellent teachers, quality researchers, and who are skilled in on-line pedagogy.
This virtual orientation will provide you with information that will help you become familiar and comfortable with the learning management system that we use and also with the on-line learning environment more generally. The department is fully committed to your academic success and to making your experience in the program a positive one.
