- Ground Broken for Final Phase of Residential Revival
- The Foundation for Indiana University of Pennsylvania and IUP broke ground for the final phase of the Residential Revival project, a $270-million public-private collaboration that is the largest of its kind in the nation.
- Global Spectrum Selected to Manage Ed Fry Arena
- IUP has selected Global Spectrum, a leading firm for managing university arenas and a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, to manage, market, and operate the Ed Fry Arena in the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
- Civic Engagement and Student Leadership Center Established
- President Tony Atwater has established the Center for Civic Engagement and Student Leadership and selected Caleb Finegan, associate professor of history, as its founding director.
- IUP Receives $160,000 Grant For “The Promise Plus”
- The Heinz Endowments of Pittsburgh has awarded IUP a $160,000 grant to support IUP’s The Promise Plus initiative, a program designed to help students plan, prepare, and pay for education beyond high school.
- Edwards Named Student Trustee
- Raymond Edwards, a junior International Business and Economics double major and Music minor in the Cook Honors College, has been appointed as a student trustee on the Council of Trustees.
