Alcohol-Wise is a confidential on-line alcohol prevention program designed to assist college students in making healthy decisions regarding alcohol use. The program will take no more than two hours to complete. You’ll need access to an Internet-connected computer and your IUP e-mail address. The program has an audio component, so if you are accessing a computer in a public space, you may wish to use a headset.
To receive credit, you must follow enrollment instructions and enter the correct control number.
- Go to 3rd Millennium Classroom.
- Click on Begin Enrollment –> College on the left-side menu.
- When you are directed to enter the Control Number, enter the code below.

- Fill out the enrollment form with your name, address, etc. Do not include payment or credit card information on the enrollment form.
- You will receive a password immediately on the screen and by e-mail.
- Log in using your IUP e-mail address and password to begin the course. The course takes about one-and-a-half hours to complete. You can log in and out as needed.
- Once you complete the course, the system will send notification of completion via e-mail to both you and the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs program director. Print out a copy for your records. Any personal information you enter while completing the program is confidential and will not be included in the notification process. - After program completion, you will receive an e-mail in thirty days reminding you to complete the fifteen-minute followup.
