IUP Joins Yellow Ribbon Program For Veterans Assistance
IUP has been accepted into the national yellow ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program. The program is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.
Cook Inspires Graduates At May Commencement
A total of 1,603 students received degrees at IUP’s commencement ceremonies on May 3. Robert E. Cook, the benefactor of IUP’s Cook Honors College, served as the commencement keynote speaker.

Convocation to Feature University Professor, Student Congress President
Gian Pagnucci, University Professor, will serve as master of ceremonies for the 2009 Freshman Convocation, planned for August 30. Samuel Heastie, a member of the educational leadership faculty at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, will present the Convocation keynote address.
