Outgoing Shipments via UPS, FedEx, etc.

If you would like send a shipment via UPS, Federal Express, freight, etc.:

  1. Please enter a work order through the School dude work order system
    • If you do not have access to School dude, please call the Central Storeroom at x73015 to arrange pickup of your shipment
  2. You will need to enter the following information on your work order:
    • On-campus contact person/telephone number
    • Pickup location (building and room)
    • Description of item to be picked up (box, pkg, envelope – approximate size)
    • How do you want this item shipped:
      • (UPS: Next Day Air, 2nd-Day Air, 3-Day Select, Ground)
      • (Federal Express: 1st-overnight, priority overnight, standard overnight, 2nd-day, 3rd-day, or international)
      • (Other)
    • Cost center that will be paying for the outgoing shipment
    • Note on the work order if you would like to receive an e-mail with the tracking number of your shipment
    • Be sure to direct your work order to the warehouse (do not simply choose delivery)
  3. When your item to be shipped is picked up, be sure the following is noted on the box:
    • Department return address label; must include cost center to which the shipment will be charged
    • Complete mailing address of the recipient; include all information that you have, including names and telephone numbers
    • If shipping international, see International Shipping Instructions
