$2.5 Million Gift For Robert E. Cook Honors College
IUP has received a $2.5 million gift from Robert Cook in support of the Robert E. Cook Honors College.
Deep and Abiding Regard
IUP’s Council of Trustees presented the family of Stephen Mayhle, a 2002 Criminology graduate and Pittsburgh City Police officer killed in the line of duty on April 4, with a resolution in his memory at the May Council of Trustees meeting.
First Place Again!
IUP won its eighth first-place in the 2009 Small Business Institute National Case of the Year Award competition held recently in Florida.

Gian Pagnucci, interim chair of the Department of English, has been selected as IUP’s 2009-2010 University Professor.

IUP President Tony Atwater hosted the university’s annual reception honoring faculty members who have completed published or creative works during the last academic year.
