The center recognizes family businesses that have made a contribution to their community at the annual Family Business Award Program.
The celebration includes an awards reception and presentation, followed by a traditional tree planting ceremony in honor of the family in the Allegheny Arboretum at IUP. Awards for excellence are based on criteria for regional and local businesses developed by an Eberly College of Business and Information Technology steering committee.
