Becky Reese, Geoscience/Biology Education major, discusses her experience from a research cruise, from gathering sediment samples from the ocean floor to analyzing those samples in the lab.
Her hands-on experience with a research project will benefit her understanding of science and, therefore, her future teaching, she said.
