B.S. in Mathematics: Applied Mathematics Track

Loading...

The B.S. in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics Track prepares students for work in business, industry, statistics, engineering, and a variety of other careers. Please see the department’s fact sheet for a list of careers of recent IUP graduates.

Students receiving a Mathematics degree with a concentration in Applied Mathematics are primarily prepared to enter business, industry, or government service in an area where mathematics or computer science is used or to continue their studies in applied mathematics or computer science in graduate school. Students would not be expected to continue graduate studies in pure mathematics.
