Students who are required to take calculus should consider a minor in Mathematics. A minor in Mathematics is an excellent complement to a degree in any quantitative discipline.

(1) The following courses are excluded: MATH 100, 101, 105, 110, 115, 214, 217, 417, 418, and courses for the Middle-Level Education 4-8/Mathematics Specialization.
A cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in MATH courses is required for a minor in mathematics. The department will not certify a minor for a transfer student unless at least two of the courses counting for the minor have been completed in the Mathematics Department.
