IUP is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and, as such, has a direct reporting line to the system’s chancellor. IUP also is governed by the Council of Trustees, which meets during four scheduled meetings on campus and then at other times as needed.
One of the duties of the President’s office is to act as liaison and contact point to these entities.
