You may be asked to display an American Flag during an event. It is important to treat the flag with respect and display it properly at all times.
A guideline to follow:
When displayed in an auditorium, on a stage with a podium, the flag of the United States of America should hold the place of superior prominence. It should be placed stage right, that is, to the speaker’s right as he or she faces the audience. Any other flag so displayed should be placed to the left of the speaker.
