Career Development Center Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is made up of faculty and staff of IUP and various employers across Pennsylvania. The purpose of the Advisory Board is to support the mission of the Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC), which is to promote career development, aid students in developing life-long career management skills and empower students in achieving their educational goals in order to become productive members of society.

The Advisory Board meets twice a year to discuss, trends and innovative ways to provide services to IUP employers, students and academic department offices across campus. The CPDC is currently working to develop a Student Advisory Board (SAB), which is designed to better serve the student body at IUP. Members of the SAB will voice their concerns and opinions regarding decisions made by the Career and Professional Development Center.
