Career Development Center Advisory Board

The purpose of the Advisory Board is to support the mission of the Career and Professional Development Center, which is to promote career development, aid students in developing lifelong career management skills, and empower students in achieving their educational goals in order to become productive members of society.

The Advisory Board is made up of IUP faculty and staff and employers across Pennsylvania. 

The Advisory Board meets twice a year to discuss trends and innovative ways to provide services to IUP employers, students, and academic department offices across campus.

The Career and Professional Development Centeris currently working to develop a Student Advisory Board to better serve the student body. Members of the student board will voice their concerns and opinions regarding decisions made by the center.

  • *Drop-in Resume Reviews will not be held the week of April 6, 2015. Regular office hours, including Tuesday and Wednesday evening drop-in résumé review service, will resume during the week of April 13 and continue throughout the rest of the month. Drop-in résumé reviews will not be offered in May, but will resume in mid-September.
