The Role of Faith and Spirituality in Behavioral Health and Recovery

This workshop will provide an overview for behavioral health professionals who are interested in identifying and addressing the spiritual needs of clients. The whys, hows, whens, and whats of doing so will be addressed with a discussion regarding screening clients for spiritual needs. The role of religion, faith, and spirituality in recovery will be examined using the principles and philosophies of the Twelve Steps and other recovery programs.
