July 12–July 25, 2009
The Robert E. Cook Honors College Summer Program is a place where talented high school students like you from across the country come together for intensive academic exploration and a glimpse of college life.
Discover what it’s like to live and learn on a college campus. Our counselors-in-residence make living in a single gender wing of Whitmyre Hall a fun, but safe experience. You will live and learn with a community of scholars. After each day’s classes, you will experience college social life in a variety of evening activities.
Count on your classes to be dynamic and interactive. Experienced full-time IUP professors will guide your explorations and help you get a sense of what college will be like.
Dr. Michele Papakie, Journalism Department, will teach Control the News: Control the World.
Here is what our past students have told us about the program, the classes, and their counselors.
Students in the Summer Honors Program live and eat on campus at IUP.
Join our community of scholars!
