If you have enrolled for Orientation appropriately, please review the following:

In order to be prepared for your attendance at Orientation, look over the following information and the document Confirming Your Orientation.

Since IUP Orientation is mandatory, remember that enrollment in the program constitutes your being on campus and participating fully with the program. If your parents and/or family members are attending the option Parent and Family Orientation, plan to see them at the end of the second day. (Note: There is no Northpointe parent program.) Do not plan to leave before the program ends at approximately 5:00 p.m. on the second day.

All students take the English, math, and reading exams. You will find information about the exams and any related sample exams on our Orientation placement website. There are no sample exams for the education readiness exams. Your letter of confirmation, which will arrive about one week before your program, will indicate if any additional tests are required.

Please refer to the Confirming Your Orientation materials for more information about your Orientation Program. If you have questions about your Orientation Program, please e-mail us at orientation-testing@iup.edu (preferred) or call our office at 724-357-4067 (Voice/TD) Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
