- Criminology Master’s Degree Now Offered on Line
- Starting in September, students will have the opportunity to complete an IUP master’s degree in Criminology entirely on line. This program is the university’s second on-line graduate program.
- 95! Nurses Score Big on Exam
- The National Council of State Boards of Nursing program report from April 2008 to September 2008 shows that IUP had a 95 percent pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.
- Science Education Programs Earn Accreditation
- IUP’s four science education programs have achieved full national recognition from the National Science Teacher Education Association.
- President’s Medal of Distinction
- In March, Nancy Newkerk will receive IUP’s President’s Medal of Distinction for Professional Achievement. The President’s Medal is the highest nondegree honor awarded by the university.
