Travel to England this summer and earn undergraduate or graduate college credits for art, English, nursing, philosophy, political science, theater, or cross-disciplinary study.
Indiana University of Pennsylvania, in cooperation with other universities in Pennsylvania and Maryland, again offers its popular three-week Summer Study Abroad Program.
Participants will study in Oxford, England with professors from accredited universities. Classes and accommodations will be provided at St. Edmund Hall, one of Oxford's oldest colleges.
LBST 499 Rock and Roll and Society
Dr. Stanford Mukasa will be teaching LBST 499 Rock and Roll and Society, a musical experience aimed at helping students to understand and appreciate the cultural impact of rock and roll on society. In addition to lectures, students will view a 10-part video series on the growth and development of rock and roll.
It is a three-credit, undergraduate course taught July 17-August 7, 2009.
