We look forward to your joining the Composition and TESOL Program at IUP. Between now and then, you should prepare for the transition. We advise the following:
All C and T graduate students
All C and T international students
C and T master's students
- Be sure that the coordinator of your program (M.A. TESOL or M.A. TE) is aware of when you plan to start, and contact the coordinator in February to make plans for registration.
C and T doctoral students
In January and February, look for an e-mail message from the director of Graduate Studies in Composition and TESOL telling you about the classes you may register for beginning in late March. Be sure to register for the classes you will need for your first summer or semester. If you are not registered for classes before you arrive, we may not be able to accommodate you and you will have to defer your starting date to a later semester.
Newly admitted doctoral students are advised to read the following titles before coming to campus.
