The Center for Information Assurance strives to establish leadership in information assurance and cybersecurity by contributing to the Homeland Defense initiative. IUP-CIA does this by
- Information provided to faculty, staff and students, including our self-assessment checklist
- Modules developed for our two computer literacy courses
The university also offers workshops and technical support for information assurance through our Academic Technology Services. Nancy Evans, coordinator of user services coordinator, has put together a very useful guide for home users that can be downloaded. It contains much helpful information and links to software.
