Oberg Industries
Ralph Hardt received his B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1982. He culminated a twelve-year career at Ernst & Young in 1993 as senior manager in charge of Performance Improvement Consulting Services for the Midwest region. In 1993, Ralph joined Oberg Industries as vice president of Corporate Development. His career progressed to include the duties of chief financial officer and finally president and CEO in February 1997.
Oberg Industries is a leader in precision stamping dies, carbide components, precision stampings, plastics, and automated systems. Oberg, reaching the fiftieth anniversary milestone in 1998, exceeds $120 million in sales annually, has over seven hundred employees and serves markets in over fifty countries with a depth of forty-eight product lines.
Ralph also serves on the boards of directors of Citizens National Bank and Dielectric Solutions, is outgoing president of the Board of the Endowment for Butler County, and serves on the Advisory Council to IUP Eberly College of Business. He is also chairperson to the Precision Metalworking Association (PMA Tool & Die Division), which is the leading national industry association for the metal stamping industry.
