This training session is oriented toward those who are new to Ektron, or those who need a refresher.

In this session, you will be introduced to Ektron (the content management system), and learn the basics of how to use it to maintain your site, from updating pages to creating a news post or calendar event. The list of topics covered includes:

  • What Ektron Is
  • Logging In
  • Working with Workflow
  • Posting News
  • Posting Events
  • Following Best Practices
  • Web Maintainer Responsibilities

We cover some of the more advanced topics—adding new pages, collections, menus, adding new sections to a website—in intermediate-level training.

All training dates are listed on the Web Team Events page.
