Active Minds
Active Minds is an organization composed of students and faculty members whose mission includes increasing awareness among IUP students about issues of mental health, symptoms of mental illness, and available resources in and around the Indiana community.
African Dance Ensemble
The African Dance Ensemble was established during Spring 1995 to provide students with the opportunity to experience, promote, and share African-oriented dance, music, creativity, and culture through various performances each academic year.
Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity
Alpha Phi Omega is a national service fraternity which was established for the purpose of assembling college students in the fellowship principles of Alpha Phi Omega to develop leadership, to develop friendships, to provide service to humanity, and to further the freedom that is our national, educational, and intellectual heritage.
Alternative Spring Break at IUP
Alternative Spring Break’s mission is to promote critical thinking, social action, and continued community involvement by combining education and direct service on the local, regional, and national levels.
Ambassadors (IUP)
The IUP Ambassadors group was founded under the direction of the IUP Alumni Association for the purpose of serving as a link between prospective students, current students, administrators, faculty members, alumni, and friends.
Anime Club (IUP)
The mission of the Anime Club is to promote the understanding and enjoyment of Japanese animation and to foster an understanding of this genre.
Ascension Meditation and Yoga Association (AMYA)
The mission of the Ascension Meditation and Yoga Association (AMYA) is to promote meditation, yoga, and discussion for spiritual growth and stress management.
Asian Studies Club
The mission of the Asian Studies Club is to promote the study and appreciation of the diverse cultures within Asia in order to enrich the campus community’s knowledge of the Asian world.
Autism Speaks U IUP
The purpose of Autism Speaks U Indiana University of Pennsylvania is to further the mission of Autism Speaks by engaging the campus and the local community through awareness, education, and fundraising and in so doing, positively affect the lives of those struggling with autism spectrum disorders and their families.


BACCHUS stands for Boost Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students. Its purpose is to promote responsible drinking decisions on the IUP campus.
Best Buddies International
The mission of Best Buddies is to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities of one-to-one friendship and integrated employment.
Black Law Students Association
The mission of the Black Law Students Association is to promote and encourage the entrance of black students into the field of law by providing internship opportunities, mentorships, LSAT preperation, and other pertinent resources to better ensure their future success.
Boy Scout Troop 11
The mission of Troop 11 is to furnish scouting to boys of the Indiana Community.
Better Together
The Better Together student organization will exist to serve the spiritual needs of the IUP community.


Chess Club
The mission of the Chess Club is to promote chess in the Indiana community.
Child and Family Studies Association
Membership in this organization is open to students interested in the child and family studies field.
Chinese Student Association
The primary objective of the Chinese Student Association is to create a stage for IUP’s Chinese students to communicate and socialize, and to foster a community that supports the needs of the Chinese students.
Circle K Club of IUP
The objectives of this organization are to emphasize the advantages of a democratic way of life, provide opportunity for leadership training, serve the campus and the community, and promote good fellowship and high scholarship. 
Clay Club
The mission of this organization is to promote the interest of ceramics among students by providing the opportunity to meet with visiting artists whose work focuses in ceramics and by organizing scholastic trips.
College Democrats (IUP)
The IUP College Democrats group pledges itself to support the philosophy, ideals, and positive public image of the Democratic Party on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus.
College Republicans (IUP)
The purpose of the College Republicans Club is to build a network of Republicans across campus, stimulate and promulgate research on public policy issues, serve as the voice of the Republican Party on campus, and to campaign for Republican candidates during general elections.
Colleges Against Cancer
American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities.
Collegiate Organization of Athletic Training Students
Our purpose shall be to serve as a means of effective communication and relations between the athletic training students and the entire IUP community and to promote a means of entering into the active scholastic, spiritual, cultural, social, and athletic life on campus.
Color Slide Club
The purpose of the Color Slide Club is to provide its members an opportunity to develop their appreciation and techniques of photography through the use of color slides, particularly those of 35mm dimensions.
Committee for the Study of Culture and Religion
The mission of this organization is to supply a secular perspective through which to increase awareness on the IUP campus of the role that religion plays in the arts, literature, politics, and other cultural and social areas.
Community Outreach Helping Others
The purpose of Community Outreach Helping Others (C.O.H.O.) is to promote community service, while reaching out to the students who wish to make an impact in others' lives by giving back to the community and volunteering while not looking for anything in return.
Counselor Education Student Association
The Counselor Education Student Association represents graduate students, both full-time and part-time, who are enrolled in classes within the Department of Counseling.


Damage Dolls Modeling Troupe
The mission of this organization is to encourage students interested in the world of fashion by designing clothes, participating in fashion shows, developing profiles, and competing against other modeling agencies that have the same goal.
Delta Tau Sigma
We are truly dedicated to service and fundraising, which brings us together as members who make a difference for all humanity. Any student of IUP with a 2.0 GPA or higher may be considered for membership.


ECO: Environmentally Conscious Organization
The mission of the Environmentally Conscious Organization is to increase public awareness of environmental problems and to encourage the active involvement to solve these problems.
Egyptian Student Association
The purpose of the Egyptian Student Association is to provide students whom are interested in the Egyptian culture the opportunity to explore and gain more knowledge.
Empowered Women
The purpose of Empowered Women is to promote higher education, personal health, self-determination, personal wealth, and self-beauty.


Fashion for Smiles
The goal of Fashion for Smiles is to raise money for non-profit organizations in need of financial support in fulfilling their own unique causes.
Fashion Visual Merchandise Club (IUP)
The mission of the IUP Visual Merchandise Club is to promote the skills of visual merchandising to the students of IUP while expressing individuality and creativity.
Fishing Club (IUP)
The purpose of the IUP Fishing Club is to bring together fellow students to partake in the tradition of fishing, forming bonds between anglers, and preserving an American heritage.
French Club (IUP)
The mission of the French Club is to promote the French language and French culture, and to encourage its members to improve their skills in the field of French.


Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority
Gamma Sigma Sigma is a national service sorority. This organization serves to promote service to humanity and to develop friendships among students of all races and creeds.


Habitat for Humanity
The primary purpose of the IUP chapter of Habitat for Humanity is to provide opportunities for its members to participate in all aspects of the work and the ministry of Habitat for Humanity.
Havoc Step Team
The mission of the Havoc Step Team is for women and men to be able to express their creative self through a cultivating form of step.  The mission is also to provide a meaningful bond with a diverse group of people.
Hawk Rock Committee
The mission of the Hawk Rock Committee is to plan IUP's annual Dance-A-Thon (Hawk Rock) with creativity and spirit.


India Students Association
The mission of the India Student Association is to promote awareness of socio-cultural values and traditions of India, and to provide a forum for interaction and exchange of views.
International Business Association
The mission of the International Business Association is to educate its members on international cultures and the ways of doing business in those cultures, along with encouraging its members to explore the world of diverse cultures.


JAPASO: Japanese Student Association
The mission of the Japanese Students Association is to assist school and other activities of Japanese Students of IUP, and to encourage students in IUP to engage in communication with students from other countries.


Korean Student Association
The mission of the Korean Student Association is to promote a good relationship with Korean students at IUP and to provide the spirit of Korea to the IUP community.


Latino Student Association of IUP
The mission of the Latino Student Association includes academically enhancing Latino students’ educational work at IUP, provide Latino students with professional and social activities that will promote their educational and cultural concerns, and create a functional network that will facilitate the students' adjustment to the IUP community. 
Latter Day Saints Student Association
The purpose of the Latter-Day Saint Student Association is to provide fellowship to young adults and bring them to the pursuit of excellence in character.
Lutheran Student Movement at IUP
Some of the purposes of the Lutheran Student Movement are to support and advance the strengthening and development of the faith and life of students through their participation in the Community of Word and Sacrament; and to encourage active participation in the life and mission of the Lutheran Churches. 


Malaysian Student Association (MASA)
The purposes of the Malaysian Student Association include establishing itself as a nonpolitical student organization, promoting friendship among Malaysian students, and being open to all students.
Men of God Christian Fraternity
Men of God Christian Fraternity serves the specific purpose of encouraging each other and others to serve God though leadership, fellowship, discipleship, servant-hood, and evangelism.
Men's Awareness Program (MAP)
The Men's Awareness Program (MAP) is a group dedicated to creating a healthier masculine perspective by providing a forum for deeper dialogue and opportunity for outreach.
Mock Trial Club
The mission of the Mock Trial Club is to participate in and support mock trial competitions and tournaments, gain a basic education of trial techniques and strategies, as well as develop an appreciation and general knowledge of the American legal system.
Muslim Student Association
Some of the aims and objectives of the Muslim Student Association are to exist as a religious organization and to serve the best interests of the IUP community by fostering understanding between Muslim students and the rest of the community; to organize social and cultural activities such as lectures, festivals, and seminars for the exchange of religious ideas among Muslim students; and to create awareness of Islam among the IUP community.
Multicultural Student Recruitment Team (MSRT)
The Multicultural Student Recruitment Team is committed to increasing the enrollment and retention rates of multicultural students by promoting academic excellence, improving the recruitment and admission process, providing an active voice in the university enrollment management policies, and creating awareness of the presence of multicultural students on campus and in the community.


Some of the purposes and aims of the IUP chapter of the NAACP shall be to improve the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups; to eliminate racial prejudice; to keep the public aware of the adverse effects of racial discrimination; and to take all lawful action to secure its elimination, consistent with the efforts of the national organization.
National Broadcasting Society
The mission of the National Broadcasting Society is to help collegiate electronic/broadcast media students make the transition to the professional world.
Nurse’s Christian Fellowship
The mission of Nurse’s Christian Fellowship is to establish and advance in nursing, within education and practice, witnessing communities of nursing students and nurses who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord.


Orthodox Christian Fellowship
Some of the aims of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship are to lead Orthodox Christians to grow in the Christian faith and to offer them an opportunity to become fully acquainted and informed about their Orthodox heritage, and to sponsor activities and service projects that are of interest to the group. 


Pan African Student Association (PASA)
The PASA was established to provide African students with the opportunity to experience, promote, and share African-oriented dance, music, creativity, and culture through various performances each academic year. The PASA was also created to unite the African students in the university.
Paranormal Society of IUP
The mission of the Paranormal Society of Indiana University of Pennsylvania is to find and investigate claims of paranormal occurrence on the IUP campus as well as in the surrounding area, and attempt to find and/or evaluate evidence of the supernatural.
Pennsylvania Prison Society: IUP Student Chapter
 The mission of the Pennsylvania Prison Society, IUP Student Chapter, is to promote the welfare of inmates who are serving sentences in Pennsylvania correctional facilities and their families. The chapter is dedicated to raising awareness of inmates’ issues and providing support in the form of charity and fund-raising.
Pep Band (IUP)
The purpose of the IUP Pep Band is to promote energy and excitement at sporting events, through music and spirit.
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
Some of the primary purposes of this fraternity are to encourage and actively promote the highest standards of creativity, performance, education, and research on music in America; foster the mutual welfare and brotherhood of students of music; and instill awareness of music's important role in the enrichment of the human spirit. 
P.O.I.Z. Modeling Group
The mission of P.O.I.Z. is to inspire individuals to express their talents through modeling. Every year they will showcase a fashion show for the IUP community. 
Pre-Physician Assistant Club
The purpose of the Pre-Physician Assistant Club is to help IUP college students, who are interested in becoming a future Physician Assistant.
Pride Alliance (IUP)
The purposes of the Pride Alliance includes fostering a safe and supportive academic and social environment for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and ally community of IUP.


Red Cross Club (IUP)
The mission of the Red Cross Club is to coordinate student activities relating to the American Red Cross blood, disaster services, and health services programs. 
Religious Studies Club
The mission of this organization is to create a social atmosphere where those interested in religion can come together to discuss religious topics, plan trips to visit sacred sites, attend academic religious functions/conferences, and enjoy a community atmosphere.
The purpose of Resolved is to help students know Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him, to encourage friendship and fellowship among college students, and to help students get involved in a local church.
Retired Faculty and Administrators Association of IUP
The mission of the Retired Faculty and Administrators Association of IUP shall be to promote the continued interaction and support of retired employees of IUP with the university student body, faculty and administration, and their activities.
Ritmo Latino Dance Crew
The mission of the Ritmo Latino Dance Crew is to introduce, promote, and uphold the Latino culture through the art of dance and to work in conjunction with other organizations that promote diversity in the IUP community.


Saudi Student Association
The mission of this organization is to promote friendship and understanding within the Saudi community, and to strengthen the bonds with other national and international affiliates within IUP.
Secular Student Alliance at IUP
The Secular Student Alliance at IUP (SSAIUP) is committed to creating a safe, welcoming place for all atheist, agnostic, humanist, and freethinker students.
Sign Language Club (IUP)
The purpose of the Sign Language Club is to foster the use of American Sign Language; provide opportunities to practice communicating in American Sign Language; and to encourage the aesthetic use of American Sign Language through musical and theatrical productions in American Sign Language.

Spirit of the Oak
The mission of the Spirit of the Oak is to welcome, respect, and provide a place for discussion of all life-affirming neo-pagan teachings, traditions, and practices; to learn from all; and to share our learning within the group.
Stage Combat Club (IUP)
The purpose of the IUP Stage Combat Club is to provide opportunities for IUP students interested in the art of stage combat to learn the history, techniques, and methodology of stage combat.
Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society
The objectives of the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society are to expand the awareness of IUP students about the usefulness of the Chemistry program and to provide educational support to the IUP community.
Student Film Association
The purpose of the Student Film Association is to create a constructive network for students interested in different aspects of videography and film.
Student Organization for Caribbean Awareness (SOCA)
The mission of the Student Organization for Caribbean Awareness (SOCA) is to support the population of Caribbean students on the IUP campus.
Student Philanthropy Council
The Student Philanthropy Council works in conjunction with the Office of Annual Giving to promote and encourage IUP philanthropy to the current student population.
Student Photography Association
The mission of the Student Photography Association is to create a positive learning environment founded upon the common interest of photography.
Students Advocating Gender Equality (SAGE)
The mission of SAGE is to promote an egalitarian way of life and to raise awareness about gender inequity in our society.
Students Opting for Alcohol and Drug Free Residence (SOAR)
The mission of Students Opting for Alcohol and Drug Free Residence is to promote healthy lifestyles free of drug and alcohol abuse.
Students Educating Edcology, Diversity, and Sustainability (SEEDS Club)
The mission of Strategies for Ecology Education, Diversity, and Sustainability (SEEDS) is to promote the field of ecology and diversity within it, in the IUP and surrounding community.
Swahili Club of IUP
The purpose of this organization is to further expand our knowledge of the language of Swahili and offer brief lessons on the subject to fellow students of IUP that are interested in the language or are unable to register for the class due to scheduling concerns.
SWUFE Exchange Students Association (SWUFE-ESA)
The mission of this organization is to create a networking opportunity for Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China, exchange students at IUP.


Taiwanese Student Association
The purpose of the Taiwanese Student Association shall be to solidify the spirit of Taiwanese students through many activities such as lectures, seminars, dinner parties, camping, etc.
The Militia
The purpose of the Militia is to explore art through various disciplines such as dance, music composition, and drama, while empowering both men and women through accepting the differences of diverse members and learning from one another.
TOST and Turned
The purpose of TOST and Turned is to raise funds for local charitable organizations through nonprofit theatrical performance.


Unitarian Universalists at IUP
The mission of the Unitarian Universalists at IUP is to offer support and networking to liberal religious students, faculty, and others by providing fellowship activities and spiritual exploration.


Veterans Organization (IUP)
The IUP Veterans Organization is in place to serve veterans of every U.S. military branch and any honorary members. This organization aims to bring veterans together, inform veterans of the various benefits available to them, and help ease the transition from military life to life on campus.
Video Games Club (IUP)
The mission of the Video Games Club is to advance the careers and enhance the lives of game developers by connecting members with their peers, promoting professional development, and advocating on issues that affect the developer community.
Voices of Joy (IUP)
The purpose of IUP Voices of Joy is to perform gospel music and encourage musical expression within its membership.
Visually Speaking Multimedia Club
The purpose of the Visually Speaking Multimedia Club is to create strong production examples through teamwork that applies careful consideration of visual structure, aesthetics, and systematic planning.


Walt Disney World College Program Alumni Association: IUP Chapter
The purpose of the organization shall be to promote the Walt Disney World College Program and maintain an outstanding alumni chapter.
West Indies Nation Association
he purpose of the West Indies Nation Association is to raise awareness to the student body at IUP about countries considered part of the West Indies Nations.
Women’s Club at IUP
The Women’s Club of IUP (formerly known as the Dames Club and the Faculty Wives Club) was founded in 1949 and has been perpetuated for the purpose of fostering friendship and sociability among the members.
Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (Women in STEM)
The purpose of Women in Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics is to raise awareness of the contributions of women in the STEM fields and to provide support for female students in these fields who are enrolled at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Women’s Studies Club
The mission of the Women’s Studies Club is to provide a comfortable, non-oppressive, supportive environment to meet and discuss ideas and issues; to disseminate research and information relevant to women’s issues; and to provide programs and information. 



Young Americans for Liberty
The purpose of Young Americans for Liberty is to promote the principles of liberty and further develop and maintain an intelligent, dynamic, and cooperative group at IUP.
