Cadet Clubs and Organizations

IUP ROTC offers the following cadet clubs and organizations: Rho Tau Chi (PTX), the Ranger Challenge Detachment, the Warrior Running Club, the Battalion Color Guard, and the Battalion Cannon Crew.

Rho Tau Chi: Established by IUP ROTC students on October 29, 1993, this military service fraternity has the mission of fostering unity and support for members entering the United States Army.
Ranger Challenge Detachment: Cadets who volunteer for Ranger Challenge commit themselves to tougher, more comprehensive physical and military training
Warrior Running Club: The ROTC Warrior Running Club offers cadets the opportunity to train for long distance races and improve their overall fitness and run time.
Battalion Color Guard: The Warrior Battalion Color Guard participates in numerous events, such as the Veteran’s Day Parade, IUP football and basketball home games, and other military events.
Battalion Cannon Crew: The Cannon Crew is a team made of highly motivated, ready to perform, all-volunteer cadets.
