Associates for Student Development

The purpose of the Associates for Student Development shall be four-fold:

  • It shall serve as an educational vehicle to promote professional development though the discussion of current critical issues, movements, and/or changes in the area of Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education.
  • It shall exists in order to enhance rapport between Student Affairs staff, the Student Affairs master’s degree candidates, Student Affairs in Higher Education faculty, and those individuals who have completed the Student Affairs graduate program at IUP.
  • It shall exist in order to promote and develop a greater degree of cohesiveness among Student Affairs associates at IUP.
  • It shall serve as an agency for the promotion of at least four meetings throughout the academic year for all members.

Membership to this organization shall include Student Affairs in Higher Education degree candidates and SAHE graduates of IUP, those individuals who are under the direction of IUP’s vice president for Student Affairs, and all other IUP faculty and administrators interested in Student Affairs Administration.
