The purpose of the Student Government Association is:
- To form a more representative, unifying, and responsive government;
- To provide channels among and between the university community and the Indiana Borough community; and
- To enhance the welfare and common interest of the students and the university.
All students shall be considered members of the SGA unless they declare otherwise. The qualifications for senators and representatives, as well as offices in SGA, can be found on the Student Government Association website.
