The English Graduate Organization will serve the interests of graduate students enrolled in all IUP English Department Graduate Programs, including M.A.-Literature, M.A.-Generalist, M.A.-TESOL, Ph.D.-Literature and Criticism, and Ph.D.-Composition and TESOL. The organization promotes camaraderie, scholarship, and academic and employment preparedness through regular meeting discussion, workshops, literary readings, social events, and an annual conference. Membership in this organization is open to all students in any of the IUP English Department graduate programs, including M.A.-Literature, M.A.-Generalist, M.A.-TESOL, Ph.D.-Literature and Criticism, and Ph.D.-Composition and TESOL. Upon program admission, all IUP English graduate students are members of the English Graduate Organization.
