The mission of the Criminology Graduate Student Organization shall be to provide an atmosphere conducive to academic excellence among criminology graduate students. The objectives of this organization are:
- To enhance professional development
- To educate graduate students beyond the classroom in areas such as research, publications, national conferences, pedagogical issues, criminal justice careers, and resume/vita development
- To facilitate communication between graduate students and faculty
- To develop a bond among graduate students to tackle the perils of the academic rigors of graduate school
