Council for Exceptional Children (IUP)

The purpose of the Council for Exceptional Children shall be to promote the welfare and education of exceptional children and adults by ordinating the work of various groups, agencies, and individuals, both public and private, who are engaged in or interested in the welfare and education of such children and adults. It shall be a further purpose to promote programs designed to attract students into the profession of special education. Any person interested or engaged in the education and welfare of the exceptional child or any person interested in better understanding the problems of the exceptional person shall become a voting member of this association upon payment of the regular annual dues to the chapter treasurer.
