College of Business Student Advisory Council (COBSAC)

The mission of College of Business Student Advisory Council (COBSAC) is to provide a representational body for the students of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology (ECOBIT) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. This is accomplished through representatives of each ECOBIT student organizations.

In addition to representing business students, COBSAC will provide a foundation for activities and functions within ECOBIT.

Membership is this organization is open to presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, and treasurers of all recognized ECOBIT organizations to include but not limited to:  American Society for Quality Control (ASQ), Association for Management Information Systems (AMIS), Finance Association, Help Desk Institute (HDI), International Business Association (IBA), Management Association, Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA), Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), Phi Gamma Nu (PGN), Pi Omega Pi (POP), Society for Human Resources Management (SHIRM), Student Account Association (SAA), Student Marketing Association (SMA), and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).

If for some reason, either the president or vice-president of any of these organizations is unable to regularly attend the COBSAC meetings, the organization may, if they wish, select a permanent member of their organization to be their representative at the COBSAC meetings.
