The objectives of the Association of Hospitality Management Students are:
- To foster and promote the fellowship, cooperation, and spirit of unity between students and professionals though communication and programming.
- To emphasize and promote professional service activities on campus.
- To expand the students understanding of the present and future scope of the hospitality industry.
- To represent the students collectively in all extracurricular matters relative to the faculty, the profession, and to other campus organizations.
- To provide a professional forum from which interactions with students from other related professional management organizations could be promoted to foster professional relationships.
Membership in this organization is open to IUP Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management full- or part-time undergraduate students who are presently enrolled in classes.
