The mission of the Child and Family Studies Association is to:
- Support children and families through service activities at the local, national, and international level
Provide students with information related to careers in the field of child and family studies through information on internships, employment opportunities, and graduate school
Provide students with the opportunity to participate in professional trainings and workshops sponsored by NAEYC, PAEYC, and other organizations
Plan site visits to child care centers and family-based service organizations to increase student knowledge of the field
Provide students with the opportunity to network with peers and faculty in an informal venue
Membership in this organization is open to students interested in the child and family studies field.
