The purpose and objective of the Athena Club is to promote awareness in relation to women’s issues, show reverence for successful leaders paving the road to social, economic, and political equity for all persons, and shape new leaders though emphasis of the ATHENA Leadership Model (the authentic self, relationships, giving back, collaboration, courageous acts, learning, fierce advocacy, celebration, and joy). Membership is open to all members of the IUP community.
