Thursday, October 23, 2008, is the deadline for students to apply for the Webology Department's Clayton Daniel Memorial Scholarship.
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a freshman Webology major who displays the creativity, diligence, and academic excellence that Daniel exemplified. The recipient must have a grade-point average of 3.5 to be considered for the scholarship.
Daniel, a former faculty member in the Webology Department, was instrumental in establishing the Institute for Webology.
