Clayton Daniel Memorial Scholarship

Clayton Daniel was a faculty member in the Webology Department from 1994 to 2004. During that time, he was admired for the innovative, hands-on learning opportunities he created for students studying website design. He was instrumental in establishing the Institute for Webology in 2003, which has helped to foster more than seventy undergraduate research projects since that time.

Daniel was also a key contributor at international Webology conferences in Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

The Clayton Daniel Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 by Daniel's family members, friends, and coworkers. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a freshman Webology major who displays the creativity, diligence, and academic excellence that Daniel exemplified. The recipient must have a grade-point average of 3.5 to be considered for the scholarship.

Anyone interested in making a donation to the Clayton Daniel Scholarship Fund may do so through the Foundation for IUP.
