2014 Emeritus Nominations

The Academic Committee of the IUP Senate is now soliciting emeritus nominations for faculty who retired in 2012–2013 and 2013–2014 (August 2012–present).

Please note: Nominations for emeritus, or posthumous emeritus status, with supporting evidence for the above criteria should be in the office of the appropriate dean/vice president by noon on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, who will forward them to the Provost’s Office by noon on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

Concept of Emeritus
Each year, the university confers the title “Emeritus” on qualified retired faculty and academic administrators who have been recommended through a department-based process.
