The Labor Center at IUP annually selects one candidate for a graduate assistantship in the Department of Industrial and Labor Relations. Priority is given to a student with experience in a unionized environment, union family background, or demonstrated interest in working with unions. Students with a background in health and safety or an interest in international and comparative labor relations will also be considered.
A graduate assistantship includes free tuition for two semesters and a summer. Twenty hours per week of work during the Fall and spring semesters is required to receive a biweekly stipend of $5,660. Applications should be submitted to the School of Graduate Studies and Research by March 15.
