Supplemental Materials for the Department of Music

The following degree programs require the listed materials in addition to the general application requirements for the Graduate School:

• M.A. in Music Education: A photocopy of current teacher certification in music education
• M.A. in Music Performance: Completion of a successful performance audition (contact applied performance faculty in your specialty)

Once your application is complete at the Graduate School, it will be sent to the Department of Music where it will also be reviewed and a recommendation made regarding admission. The Graduate School will then notify the applicant of the decision. If you have questions about the status of your application, please contact the Graduate School.

Assistantships

Half-time and quarter-time assistantships are available in the Department of Music.

Specific assistantship award information can be found on the Graduate Admissions website as can the with the application for assistantships.
