Jessica Carson, a senior from Quarryville, Pa., has been named to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors. Majoring in Anthropology and Sociology and pursuing a minor in Asian Studies, she has served as the president of the Society of Underground Poets, president of BACCHUS, vice president of the American Civil Liberties Union at IUP, secretary of the Anthropology Club, member of the President’s Student Advisory Network, and a member within other organizations such as the Sociology Club and the Haven Project.
