Communicator - Adult and Community Education

The Communicator is a semi-annual newsletter published by the Department of Adult and Community Education.

We highlight the accomplishments of students, faculty, staff, and alumni for both the ACE and AECT programs. We also offer news, upcoming events, and ACE department and program information. Comments or questions about the Communicator should be directed to Dr. Gary Dean gdean@iup.edu.

Fall 2008 Communicator: Adult Educator Works with Internationals in Allegheny County. Danis (Dani) Kubiak says she “got into adult education quite by accident” … and then found a home there. While a stay-at home mom in the late eighties, an instructor from an adult education program became ill and she was contacted to substitute teach.
