On Thursday, October 9, 2008, the IUP Libraries announced the availability of Web of Science®. Web of Science® consists of three databases containing information gathered from thousands of scholarly journals in the following areas of research:
- Science Citation Index Expanded
- Social Sciences Citation Index
- Arts and Humanities Citation Index
Please follow this link for more information about Web of Science® and its components. IUP provides complete coverage for the Social Sciences from 1956 to present. Coverage for the Science and Arts and Humanities is 1995 to present.
You will find Web of Science on the library’s All Databases (alphabetical) page under the “W” section, or follow this link directly to Web of Science®.
Remote access is available through Virtual Private Network [VPN] or by entering your sixteen-digit barcode and last name as requested.
