2007
- May – July – LSRSC Meetings – Refine LS curriculum proposal and form subcommittees
- July – August – Membership lists of subcommittee appointments sent to volunteers for confirmation
- August 28 – September 11 – Lists of subcommittees membership forwarded for information to LSC, UWUCC, APSCUF Executive Committee and Rep Council, and University Senate
- September 11 – 28 - Members of LSRSC convene meetings of subcommittees
- September 28 – November 2 – Subcommittees work on writing inclusion criteria
- October – LSRSC Report on Proposed LS Framework to LSC, UWUCC, APSCUF and Senate for information. Report posted on LS website
- November 19 – Subcommittees present draft reports online for university-wide feedback
- November 26 – December 7 – Subcommittee reports open for university-wide feedback
2008 and Beyond
- January 30 – Final Report from each subcommittee due to LSRSC
- February – April 2008 – Revised Liberal Studies Curriculum Proposal forwarded through curriculum process for information & action
- Spring – Summer 2008 – Interested faculty begin new course development and course revision for courses in the revised Liberal Studies curriculum.
- AY 2008 – 09 – Revised and new Liberal Studies courses forwarded through curriculum process for action. Department program revisions based on new Liberal Studies curriculum forwarded through curriculum process for action.
- AY 2009 – 10 – Approval process for courses and program revisions continues
- Fall 2010 – Tentative implementation date for incoming first year students
