B.A. in Psychology

This program of study in psychology leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree and is designed to give the student an understanding of the methods and major findings in the science of behavior and mental processes.

The major offers the background required for graduate work in psychology and also preparation for such related fields as social work, personnel work, advertising, medicine, law, and theology.

All psychology majors are required to take a minor or a concentration in another discipline.

Students are encouraged to consult with her/his academic advisor. Most freshmen are advised through the Academic Development Center.
