How I became interested in Psychology
I had an excellent 101 course. Then, I started working with Dr. Michael Lambert at Brigham Young University and became involved in his research. From that, I pursued graduate training in clinical psychology.
- Therapy outcome and process research
- Clinical judgment and decision making
- Client deterioration (getting worse) in therapy
- How therapists determine client progress
- Clinical use of therapy outcome measures
Current Research and Professional Projects
I am currently studying the impact that outcome measures and other factors can have on the therapists’ judgment of client change and subsequent treatment decisions. I am also interested in applying research from the field of judgment and decision making to issues in clinical psychology.
