Bill Campbell, an alumnus of the Geography department, is involved with the Big Sewickley Creek Interceptor—Neighborhood Collector Sanitary Sewer Extension.
Robert Thomas ’50 has been honored with an IUP Distinguished Alumni Award. Thomas is professor emeritus at Michigan State University.
Daniel Griffith M’72 received an honorary degree at the 2006 Commencement ceremony.
Mark Lazzari, an IUP alumnus and a watershed/land use planner in Paul C. Rizzo Associate’s Johnstown, Pa., office, had an article regarding a restoration project for the Casselman River published in the August 2005 issue of ArcUser.
Alumnus John Ferketic joined Woodard & Curran as a vice president for the firm’s Environmental Information Services group in Portland, Me.
