Leave Donation Program

The Leave Donation Program allows permanent AFSCME, managers, OPEIU, PSSU, and SPFPA employees to apply to receive donated leave from other permanent AFSCME, managers, OPEIU, PSSU, and SPFPA employees in the event of their own catastrophic illlness or injury or an immediate family member’s catastrophic illness or injury.

To be eligible for the leave donation program, the employee must have used all accrued and anticipated paid leave for the current leave calendar year and must submit a Leave Donation Request to Receive form and a Serious Health Condition form to the Office of Human Resources. To donate leave, donors must submit a Leave Donation Request to Donate form. See the policy for further details on the program.
