M.A. Literature

The Master of Arts/Literature (MA/LIT) is designed for active professionals who wish to further their expertise in literature and for students who wish to prepare for work on a Ph.D. in a wide range of literatures and criticism. The MA/LIT option introduces students to traditional and nontraditional literary works, as well as to critical and theoretical approaches of the field.

The specific course requirements have been developed to ensure students have a strong understanding of literature, theory and criticism.
