Topics include: properties and operations on real numbers; simplifying expressions; order of operations; solving equations and inequalities; formulas; exponential and scientific notation; operations on polynomials. Carries Institutional, non-degree credit. Attendance is required.
Prerequisite: A student may not register for this course after successfully completing any course offered by the mathematics department without written approval of the Development of Departmental Studies chairperson.
