A limited number of fellowships are available to students in doctoral programs. To be considered for a fellowship, a student must be nominated by his or her academic program. The award amount of the fellowship may range between $1,000 and $5,000. The specific amount of each award is determined by those faculties submitting the nomination.

Process
- On or about March 1, doctoral coordinators will receive a letter from the SGSR announcing the availability of fellowships. The total award amount available to the program is provided in that letter. Nomination forms will accompany the letter.
- Each program may nominate students for a fellowship award, such that the total award amount is not exceeded.
